*UPDATE*: Due to some problem with the paperwork somehow only getting submitted today (4/23/15) we just found out that the room 5401 is already taken so we're trying for a new room. Because of this problem of having to switch rooms the starting time may change from 2 to a later time.
*UPDATE 2*: Sorry about the lateness of this, we got the paperwork through and unless something really awful happens in the next few hours the LAN party is just changing rooms and starting at 3pm now. All other information is still valid.
Based on last LAN party we revised the LAN party information and costs to this:
When: April 30th Where: 3142 (Cuesta Campus) Price: $5 Entry (non-member) $3 Entry (member) Time: 3 pm - 10pm
Bring your own computer (please run an anti-virus scan before coming), and your mouse/gamepad/keyboard/headphones (accessories you would like to use).
Games: We will have these games on hand to distribute and play, but if other games are requested/available we are willing to play those as well. -Warcraft 3 (up to 12 players per game) -Command and Conquer 3 (up to 8 players per game) -Command and Conquer Renegade (up to 32 players) -Halo Combat Evolved (up to 16 players per game) -Quake 3 (up to 16 players per game) -Team Fortress 2 (up to 32 players per game) -Diablo 2 (up to 8 players per game) -Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds Clone Campaigns (up to 8 players per game) -Sanicball (up to 8 players per game)
Side events: Consoles. -WiiU -Playstation 3 -Xbox 360
Food: We will have pizza, candy, and drinks. $2 per slice of pizza $1 per snapple/water $0.75 per soda $0.50 per candy $5 Combo (2 slices of pizza and 2 drinks)
Feel free to suggest any games to play/add, any side events to add, or any information to add. Also please discuss the games on the list, the prices, the side events, or whatever you want that's directly related to this next LAN party and future LAN parties.
Because of last LAN I can't emphasize enough, PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN COMPUTER. I know that many computers that people have are old, outdated and slow but that's partially why the list of games we have here can be run by computers that were made in the 90s and early 2000s. If you want to try to see if these games will work on your computer before the LAN, try bringing it in to a meeting before the LAN and have us pre-load the games and troubleshoot them there.
Also, last side time the side events were essentially telling us that we are the fighting game club, but that doesn't have to be true this time if we don't want it to be (although I love my fighting games even if they aren't the latest versions). Last time we had Blazblue: Calamity Trigger, Mortal Kombat (sorry don't remember which version), Street Fighter 4, Super Smash Bros 4, Tekken 6, and more.

How many monitor can we run ? I'd say no more than two 24" monitors unless they're standing up vertically in which case no more than 3. Although it really would depend on how many people we have show up this time and how many power strips we have.
