With the coming modern master draft, I want to ask some of the veteran player how they come up with a winning deck formula

It really depends on the card pool and how the draft is working; winning doesn't necessarily mean value drafting. If you want to win often you don't want to pick up the most valuable cards price-wise and you'll end up skipping them for stronger picks. Hate drafting is as important as drafting for yourself.
With drafting I tend to say ask these questions: 1. Will it help you win? 2. What will stop other people from wining? 3. Does it fit into your colors? 4. Does it work with the other cards in the pool?
Btw, BONESPLITTER IS REALLY STRONG.

BREAD: Bombs, Removal, Efficent/Evasion, Aggressive/Card Advantage, Dregs. I for one am hoping to run Ceta-Combo, with tooth and nail, Kiki-Jiki and Pestermite. Anyways, all jokes aside, there really isn't a perfect formula. There are certain archetypes in sets, and certain good cards that are bad in drafting, and bad cards that are good in drafting. If I remember correctly, the archetypes are R/W Giants, U/B Faeries, R/G Storm, R/B Goblins, W/G Saporlings, Mono-U/WU Artifact/Affinity, 5-Color Sunburst, G/B Dredge, W/B Rebel(2 op), R/U Arcane(never ever).
