This probably belongs here. I feel like buying one of these, putting a small camera on it and flying it around my neighborhood. Thoughts? Oooh, I could even attach some small model rockets to the wings! The range depends on what receiver and transmitter you use. My quad's rather humble receiver has an advertised range of like 3km. I've heard that with the right antennas and a nice transmitter you can get around 10km.
