so rumors going around about 4 new (sort off) anime releases that came out a couple days ago. specifically: sailor moon crystal, SAO 2 AKA GUN GALE ONLINE, tokyo ghoul, and akame ga kill.
so far my interaction of these 4 is: Iseen the first episode of GGO, watched a clip of tokyo ghoul, and read a plot synopsis about akame ga kill.
GGO was a bit of meh in the first episode, too much talking imo. and the basis for it is a bit ridiculous. (seriously they're asking a high school student to track down a potentially dangerous cyber criminal when they could go for almost anyone else.)
tokyo ghoul look quite intriguing from the 1 clip I saw, gory from the look of it, the animation seem close to that of blood+ if anyone actually watched it.
akame ga kill plot sounds a bit like if assassin's creed were to become an anime. I'm still in the dark about this but I'm going to watch the first episode and do a review if I'm bored enough.
as for sailor moon....ok I'm going to be honest with you guys and say that I never watched sailor moon EVER, I tried card captor sakura and it was boring as hell, so I don't think magical girl anime is my kind of schtick, so no reason to start now.
anyway did anyone watched these anime yet ? if yes then tell me what you think about them and would you think they are anime of the year material or not.

I wouldn't really say they are rumors seeing how they've been all confirmed.
Also no I didn't watch Gun Gale Online due to the line being too long to get in and watch. As for Sailor Moon, I liked the original so if the new one is that good it'll be alright. Akame Ga Kill looks freaking awesome from the trailer I saw. Tokyo Ghoul I haven't looked into at all.
GGO will be cool but we still have like 9 more games to go after that, take that how you will.
